Kevin Chen, Executive Director of Programming
Kevin is a senior in Lowell House studying applied math & economics. Originally from Shanghai but growing up in Boston, his bicultural experience fuels his passion about US-China relations. Kevin’s interest in foreign policy research has led him to work on a thesis analyzing Chinese FDI and its implications.

Fujia Sun, Executive Director of Research
Hi! My name is Fujia and I’m a Junior at Harvard studying applied math & eocnomics with a double in psychology. In my spare time I enjoy making art and spending time with cuddly animals and my family.

Anna Gamburd, Team Lead
Anna hails from Europe and NYC. She is particularly interested in European law and integration, post-Soviet studies, and US-EU-Russia-China relations. Her past areas of research include NATO’s strategic dependencies on China, the impact of the War in Ukraine on EU-China relations, Green Industrial Policy, European integration, sustainable agriculture, and Central Asian politics. She studies History, Government with citations in Russian, Chinese.

William Tan, Team Lead
William is a sophomore in Leverett House double concentrating in Government and Psychology. He is passionate about topics ranging from democratic erosion to political psychology through a comparative lens. Research, particularly into US-China relations, provides a lens to view how countries are shaped by changing diplomatic relationships and global power dynamics.

Jenny Lu
I'm Jenny, a junior in Leverett House studying Economics. I am always looking for opportunities to expand my worldview and am passionate about mutual dialogue — HUSPRE serves as the perfect channel through which to accomplish this mission! Outside of classes and extracurriculars, you'll find me running along the Charles River, munching on yummy food, or seeking out my next sidequest :)

Felipe Vitte
Felipe Vitte is a Visiting Undergraduate Student from the Higher School of Advertising and Marketing (ESPM) in São Paulo, Brazil, where he is majoring in International Relations with an emphasis on Corporate Diplomacy. Previously, he was a researcher at the Chinese Studies Group of the University of Brasília (GECHINA-UnB). His research interests on China include Artificial Intelligence, Foreign Policy, and Business and Industry.

Lincoln Duckson
My name is Lincoln Duckson, and I’m a first year at Harvard. I’m originally from Minnesota, and I hope to study Math, Philosophy, and Mandarin Chinese. In HUSPRE, he is involved with research and marketing. Outside of school, he likes to volunteer (ESL specifically), make friendship bracelets, and listen to music!

My name is Nilufer Mistry Sheasby and I'm a freshman at Harvard College. I've taken Chinese language and culture classes throughout high school and plan to concentrate in East Asian Studies.

I am a senior at Harvard studying Molecular and Cellular Biology, with a strong interest in US-Chinese relations and policy research. My passion for policy research stems from my experience in addressing healthcare disparities and global health challenges. During my undergraduate studies, I have contributed to and published several papers analyzing health outcomes across the United States, United Kingdom, South Africa, and other countries.

My name is Adam Latif, and I am a sophomore at Harvard studying Applied Mathematics and Economics. I am interested in economic policy, international trade, and U.S-China economic relations.

Tamara Lehoczky
I’m Tamara, I am a freshman at Harvard College and I am planning to do a joint concentration in government and East Asian studies. My main interest is Chinese politics and nuclear weapons policy and I am very excited to be a research associate this year!

Ekaterina Popova

My name is Ekaterina, I'm a First-Year at Harvard hoping to concentrate in Economics and Government with a Russian Language Citation, and I'm an Associate Member of HUSPRE! I'm interested in international relations, development economics, as well as China's trade policy and political economy. I also love a good game of badminton, singing, playing the piano, watching Formula 1, and getting coffee with my friends!

Lily Peng
Lily first developed her interest in US-China relations research as a debater spending hours analyzing resolutions and writing cases on key interest areas. She expanded her passion for policy research through her research, testimony, and advocacy for different local and state level policies and is excited to collaborate globally to further US-China relations.
